Winery Sixteen 600

How do I sum up the funky, artistic, 60’s, vintage aesthetic?

How do I sum up...

Otis Redding music oozing through the speaker.

Winery Sixteen 600 Vinyl Sundays

‘These Arms Of Mine’. Otis’s voice, combined with the wine, had me melting into a soul puddle on the 120 year old farmhouse hardwood floors. Cleanup on aisle ‘Divine Grenache’.

How do I sum up...
Crossing my legs while sitting in red-velvet, antique, theater seats from London. Surrounded by Grateful Dead paraphernalia and albums.

How do I sum up...
Sitting across from a haunting painting. A painting that is on every label. A blonde beauty. Sexy intrigue and sophistication. Pensively seducing her wine glass in deep thought.

How do I sum up...
the Coturri’s.
Phil Coturri.
Legendary viticulturist.
Pioneer in organic farming.
A man who has single handedly contributed to what is high quality Sonoma Valley Wine.
I love this quote about Phil: Born with the cultural palate of Italian immigrants, weaned on the music and ethos of San Fran in the 60’s, and planted deep into the rocky hillsides of Sonoma Valley.

His son, Sam Coturri.
Who poetically said during my tasting:

Phil Coturri and Sam Coturri

We are about capturing time and place in a bottle that lasts a generation.

A tasting experience that stands out with exceptional wines.
