A family owned winery; farmed by Sue and Lou Preston since early 70’s.
Biodynamic Farming is their contribution to humanity and salute to Mother Nature.
You’ll be struck by the non pretentious, down home vibe, and farm fresh pleasures.
Open Daily 11:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Walk-ins welcome of groups 8 or less.
Tasting Fee: $15 and waived with purchase of a bottle of wine.
Farm tour/ tasting, $30 pp, Tues.-Sat. 11:00 am., appt needed, 60-90 min.
Dogs NOT allowed in tasting room or picnic area.
Dogs on leash allowed on other parts of property.
Critters take center stage- chickens, sheep, cats, hummingbirds, butterflies.
Enjoy a friendly game of bocce ball on weekdays only.
Plan a picnic in the shade of a walnut tree.
Receive a friendly leg rub from several roaming cats.
Both southern French and Italian varietals.
Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Barbera
Vin Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and a white Rhone style blend, Madame Preston.
Wine prices: average in the $20-$40 range.
Wine Club: 3, 6 & 12 bottle shipments 4x a year.
Lou, a bold farmer: planted Sauv Blanc, Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Grenache, Viognier.
When Lou is not in the vineyard, he’s making some of the best bread in the county.
Sue Preston, an artistic dynamo, farm goddess, provides a keen aesthetic for beautiful, rustic details.
Her amazing garden is magical, and she’s the “culinary mother of the farm”.
Both Sue and Lou delight in passing on the lore of Dry Creek Valley.
Summers mean organic produce and eggs, available for purchase in the farm store.
Estate grown olives, olive oils, local cheese, and pickled vegetables are also for sale.
Stroll the grounds, and imagine you’re at an English Cottage with the white picket fence.
Walk underneath the vine covered arbor, relax on the wicker chairs, and follow butterflies.
