  • Owned by millenials,  brothers, Andrew and Adam Mariani.

  • 4th generation California farmers who transitioned from walnut farming to grapes.   

  • In 1850 German immigrant brothers planted the grapes on the 200 acre property.

  • The Dresel’s 1915 Mission Revival style hacienda sits majestically atop a hill.

  • Mariani brothers lovingly restored and unveiled their prize hacienda for tasting in 2007.

  • They retained the original architectural charm.  

  • A scenic drive up the palm lined entrance sets the luxurious, upbeat mood.

  • The patio view includes mature giant blooming cactus, the vineyard, and estate garden.

  • Reservations are Required.

  • Reserve the Full Service Food/Meal and Wine Pairing, $60pp.

  • It’s a fresh-from-the-estate-garden meal prepared by the onsite chef.  

  • Their best varietals include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, and rare vintage Sylvaner.

  • Wine prices:  Whites average $38  Reds $50

  • Scribe Chardonnay is fermented in concrete vessels rather than oak.

  • Experimenting with an ancient Greek method of fermenting in terracotta amphorae.
